Engagement can take many forms: Observe (staying informed), Advise (guiding methodology) or even Contribute (developing new code). By design, the Halo initiative is voluntary and welcomes every perspective to review, audit, or enrich its open-source framework.
Join

Observe – Stay Informed & Provide Feedback
- Bi-monthly townhall webinars: hear updates on the proposed Halo code merges, advertiser perspectives and local initiatives.

- Feedback: file bug reports, improvement requests or general comments, ensuring your voice helps refine the initiative.

Advise – Shape the Methodology
- Structured Discussions: contribute your expertise in data science, measurement, privacy, cryptography, architecture or audit.
- Research & peer-to-peer review: work with academia or R&D groups to explore new use cases or build proof-of-concept enhancements.

Contribute – Develop, Improve & Expand the Code
- Code contributions: help improve the open-source modules, bridging panel data or cryptographic functionalities.
- Privacy & security enhancements: augment the existing tools to reinforce privacy-by-design.
- Documentation & training: help create guides or demos that help new adopters.
- Financial support: optional donations fund dedicated engineering or program management resources under WFA oversight.
